As of this year, Japan's NKS Co., Ltd., for which we are the distributor in Taiwan, starts to render micro machining services for the hard and brittle materials. The position accuracy of NKS machining apparatus is as follows:
X. Y: ¡Ó 0.0004 mm, Z: ¡Ó 0.0006 mm; the reciprocated operation accuracy is X. Y. Z: ¡Ó 0.0001 mm; and the revolution of the main shaft is 40,000 rpm, which can be used to perform hole drilling for quartz or glass material with 0.1mm bit or machining groove within 0.1mm x 0.1mm x 300mm (L). Further, we also provide metal or resin hole-drilling service with our 0.04mm bit.
With our new facility, we can render service for the research units of precision machining, testing instruments, apparatus or relevant industries that require micro machining for their hard and brittle materials.

In such cutting-edge technology, the semi-conductor silicon wafer etching process is used to manufacture super-fine mold on which, the optical-grade polymer is coated by a revolving method to produce the super-fine thin film component.
The super-fine film molding process is simple and convenient. Such method presents the surface coarseness of the film component of less than 2 nano meters and the thickness between 1~100 micron with a pattern size from 100 nano meters to 100 microns. It is suitable for fabricating super fine optical components or biotech components. If you are interested, MCI Co., Ltd. also provides technical transfer service.
